Start Making Money On line
How scary is it to continuosly hear all this talk about the state of the economy? Is your job hanging in the balance? No jobs out there and you lack the skills to do anything else. Would you like to start to make money on line as soon as possible?
If you said yes, then read on because I have some information here that will make it easy for you to start an on line business. This is just an outline.
I know it’s not easy to know where to start or who to listen to. I remember it vividly. Plus, everyone thought I was crazy starting an online business. I bounced all over from one business to the next. Not really sure what to stick with. I then found my mentor.
I’m want to be that person that you are looking for. So here we go….
The first thing you need to think about is this: choosing what topic or niche you’d like your business to be about.
If so, you need to do some on line research to see if it’s worth pursuing. If it isn’t, there are plenty of other options out there. Go and find one that may interest you.
Check google news, yahoo answers, and even Ask.com to see what is popular these days and then dig down into those niches to find a sub niche. The less broad your topic, the better because there will be less competition.
After that, you need to do some keyword research to find some phrases that can bring you some traffic. Use google’s free keyword tool. Just type that right into to your google bar, click search. Click on the first ad.
You don’t want a ton of competition with these keywords. Again, not broad. Dig down. Find phrases or longtail keywords. These are much more targeted, giving you more of a chance to get noticed by the search engines, which in turn moves you up the results page where potential buyers can find you for one of your given phrases.
When you’ve found some keywords and longtail keywords that you believe can bring you some traffic. Now, what we have to do is go to clickbank.com.
With over 10,000 product owners and well over 100,000 affiliates, clickbank is a main stop for tons of affiliates. A bunch of new products are launched everyday and you can signup for free.
You’ll want to sign up with them. It’s free. Save your affiliate id that you receive and go pick out a product that you want to promote. You’ll find the products in the marketplace on clickbank.
Time to go and get your hoplink. Go to: create hoplink, enter your id and hit: create. Tadahhh. Go purchase a domain name for your long, ugly link. You will be using this link on your landing page. You’re only goal is to get people to click on it, go to the sales page and purchase. Your id is embedded in that link. That means you will get credit for referring that sale and so you’ll get a commission.
Clickbank is known for paying out nice commissions.
Like I said earlier, I’m just kind of outlining what you need to do here. I’m not going to go deep into the details.
Ok. You have your product to promote. Now you need to set up a little webpage or landing page because you need to start driving potential buyers to the sales page. Try WordPress or start with a great little site called Squidoo! Google loves squidoo and wordpress! Both have a massive amount of tutorials and such to get you going.
Having a landing page as opposed to direct linking straight to the sales page, is a big deal to google. You will get better page rank, which in turn will start to make you money on line sooner.
Let’s begin to send traffic to your webpage now.
There’s a couple of ways that you can drive traffic to your site. You can either do this manually, which takes time. This is also known as organic traffic. Examples of this are: Blogs, Squidoo, Ezine advertising, Article marketing, getting involved in forums, etc. The other method is paying for it. Don’t get into this until you have a lot of content of your own out there and you’ve got a steady cash flow coming in. Examples of this are: Pay per click and solo ads in ezines.
When you do have a steady flow of cash coming in monthly, then you can look into ppc. Just start out slow with it so you can see how it operates. Take a course on it. There are a lot of those out there. Membership sites are great too. They will keep you up to date on all the changes when they occur.
If you are totally new to online marketing, all the terms and such may sound a bit foreign. But as you move along learning everyday, you’ll have no problem with the terms. Just find yourself someone to follow who can give you all the little shortcuts and show you how to profit quickly. That’s the key, finding early success, even if small.
